WELCOME MODULE: FIRST STEPS SETUP
Hello, and welcome! I am so incredibly excited for you, and I want to be the first to officially welcome you to your brand-new template.

First of all, congratulations! Deciding to launch your course, program, or service is a massive step for your business, and I am so honored that you chose my design to help you bring that vision to life.

I know that the "tech side" of launching can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. If you are sitting there feeling a bit nervous about building a website—take a deep breath. You are in exactly the right place, and I’ve got you completely covered.

How This Template Hub Works
I designed this hub to be completely foolproof. You don't need to know a single line of code, and you don't need to be a tech genius.

Below, you will find short, bite-sized lessons that will walk you through exactly how to customize your new Squarespace website from start to finish. We will go step-by-step: from adding your unique brand colors and fonts, to dragging and dropping your photos, all the way to hitting that exciting "Publish" button.

Here is my best advice for you:

Take it one step at a time. Don't try to rush through everything in one hour. Grab a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine!), put on your favorite playlist, and just follow along with the videos.

Go in order. The modules are set up chronologically to make the process as smooth as possible.

Have fun with it! This is the exciting part where your business identity comes to life.

If at any point you feel stuck, remember that you can always pause the videos, rewind, and watch them as many times as you need.

(And hey, if you decide you’d rather just hand the tech stuff over to a professional, you can always check out my Done-For-You Setup Service)

I can't wait to see what you create. Whenever you are ready, go ahead and click on the next lesson, "Accepting Your Site Transfer," and let’s get this template into your account!

Happy designing!
1. WELCOME TO YOUR TEMPLATE!
Now that you’re ready to dive in, let’s get the template into your Squarespace account! Unlike other platforms, Squarespace templates are delivered as a manual site transfer. This means I personally send the website to your email address.

Here is the step-by-step process to get started:

Step 1: Send Me Your Email
Since Creative Market (and other platforms) keep your personal details private, I don’t automatically have your Squarespace email.

If you haven't done so yet: Please send me a message or email me with the email address you want to use for your Squarespace account.

Step 2: Look for the Invitation Email
Within 24 hours of providing your email (usually much faster!), you will receive an official email from Squarespace.

Subject Line: "Invitation to contribute to [Template Name]" or "Join [Your Name/Studio] on Squarespace".

Action: Open the email and click the big "Accept Invitation" button.

Step 3: Log In or Create a Free Account
Once you click the button, you’ll be taken to Squarespace.

If you have an account: Simply log in.

If you are new: Click "Create Account" and sign up.

IMPORTANT: You do not need to choose a paid subscription or enter any credit card details at this stage.

Step 4: Find Your Template
Once you log in, the template will appear in your Squarespace Dashboard. Click on the website preview image, and you are officially in the editor!

💡 PRO-TIPS FOR A SMOOTH TRANSFER:
The 7-Day Rule: The invitation link from Squarespace expires in 7 days. If you don't click it by then, I’ll have to send a new one, so try to accept it as soon as you see it!

Check Your Spam: If you don't see the email within 24 hours, check your "Spam" or "Promotions" folder. It’s a generated email, so sometimes it hides there.

Don't Move Content Yet: If you already have an old Squarespace site, don't worry about it yet. We are building this as a new site, and we will handle connecting your domain at the very end.

2. Accepting Your Site Transfer
Now that the template is in your account, it’s time to take a look around! Squarespace is very intuitive, but like any new tool, it helps to have a map.

In this lesson, we’ll walk through the main dashboard so you know exactly where to find your pages, your images, and your design settings.

The Left-Hand Menu (Your Control Center)
When you first open your site, you’ll see a menu on the left. This is where the "boring but important" stuff lives:

Website: This is where your page structure lives. You’ll see your Sales Page here. This is also where you’d add new pages if you decide to expand your site later.

Asset Library: Think of this as your site’s "cloud storage." Every photo or video you upload to your template will be saved here so you can reuse it easily.

Analytics: Once your site is live, this is where you can see how many people are visiting your page and where they are coming from!

Settings: This is where we’ll handle the technical launch details later, like connecting your domain and setting up your site’s SEO.

The Top Bar (Your Creative Tools)
The real magic happens when you look at the top of your screen. This is where you’ll spend most of your time while customizing the Aura template:

The "EDIT" Button (Top Left): This is the most important button! You must click this to enter the Fluid Engine editor. Once you click "Edit," you can move blocks, change text, and swap images.

The Paintbrush Icon (Site Styles): This icon in the top right is your "Global Design" menu. This is where we will change your brand colors and fonts for the entire site at once.

Device View (The Phone/Desktop Icons): Clicking these allows you to toggle between the desktop and mobile versions of your site. Remember, we always want to make sure both look perfect!

The Live Preview
The large area in the middle of your screen is a live preview of your website. Unlike other platforms, what you see here is exactly what your visitors will see once you hit publish.

💡 QUICK TIPS FOR NAVIGATION:
Don't Fear the Click: You can't "break" the template just by clicking around the menu. Feel free to explore!

The Escape Key: If you are inside a menu and want to get back to the main dashboard quickly, you can usually just hit the 'Esc' key on your keyboard.

Double-Click to Edit: Once you are in "Edit" mode, you can simply double-click any text or image to start changing it immediately.
3. A Quick Tour of Squarespace
Your new template is built on Fluid Engine, Squarespace’s newest and most advanced page builder. It gives you incredible drag-and-drop freedom—meaning you can place text, images, and buttons exactly where you want them, and even overlap them!

However, with all this creative freedom comes a few important quirks. Before you click "Edit" and start moving things around, please read these 4 Golden Rules. They will save you hours of time and frustration!

Rule #1: There is NO Auto-Save!
Unlike Google Docs, Squarespace does not auto-save your progress while you are actively editing a page. If your browser crashes, you lose your internet connection, or you accidentally close the tab, your hard work will disappear.

The Golden Rule: Every time you finish customizing a section and it looks great, go to the top left corner of the screen, click SAVE, and then click EDIT again to keep going. Save early, save often!

Rule #2: Content is Global, but Layout is Separate (The Mobile Rule)
This is the #1 most important thing to know about Fluid Engine. Desktop and Mobile views are connected, but their layouts are managed separately.

If you change TEXT or DELETE an image: It updates on both Desktop and Mobile instantly. (If you delete a photo on mobile, it is gone from the desktop too!).

If you MOVE or RESIZE an item: This is independent! You can drag a photo above a title on the Mobile view, and it will NOT mess up your Desktop layout.

Rule #3: Always Check the Mobile View Before Saving
Because the mobile layout doesn't automatically arrange itself perfectly, things might look a bit messy when you first add a new block of text or a new photo.

The Golden Rule: Never hit "Save" and close your laptop without clicking the Mobile Phone Icon (in the top right corner) first. Always manually drag and drop your blocks on the mobile view so they look clean and professional.

Rule #4: Don’t Delete Layouts You Might Need Later
If you see a section in the template that you don’t need right now (for example, a "Testimonials" or "FAQ" section, but you don't have that information yet), do not just hit the trash can icon! Once it's gone, it's hard to get that exact design back.

The Golden Rule: Hover over the section, look for the little pop-up menu on the right side, and click the Heart Icon (Save Section). This saves the entire design layout into your "Saved Sections" folder. You can safely delete it from the live page now, knowing you can easily add it back with one click whenever you are ready!

💡 THE UNDO BUTTON IS YOUR BEST FRIEND
Made a mistake? Accidentally dragged a photo across the screen? Don't panic!
In the top left corner of the editor, there are two curved arrows. Click the Undo arrow (or press Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z on your keyboard) to instantly undo your last action.

Feeling confident? Awesome! You officially know how to navigate the builder like a pro. Let’s move on to the fun part in the next module: "Module 1: Global Brand Styling," where we will start painting the template with your brand colors!
